About the Study
Silver Spring Networks and Power Over Energy recently conducted a study with the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, to find out what consumers think of Smart City technologies.
Objectives of the Study:
- Measure awareness about smart city technologies
- Gauge knowledge while educating consumers about benefits
- Understand general sentiment and perceptions
- Learn best ways to reach and educate consumers
This study found 75% of U.S. consumers believe Smart Cities will positively impact their lives when educated on the benefits.
